Why THE FOOD YOGI !!!

Yeah, true! God gave all of us birth with lot of complimentary basics and hard to earn money..fame..power..and glamour... But, I was given only one thing, which is very normal, most common requirement, very basic requisite of life, even for a tiny dirty amoeba dwelling in Amazon forest i.e. HUNGER for FOOD. Alike every newborn, I was born hungry too, but others grow above it....

In India people will call me "Bhukkad"- devil with unending hunger. But, staying on an optimistic side, I would like to call myself - a Yogi. Everyday the 'Only' first thing coming to my mind when still on the bed, in a super cozy mood, with the blanket on, even before the snooze alarm goes "Tidi di di, Tidi di di " is FOOD. Let it be a sad day, a blue Monday, a zesty Friday or a 'get up only after 10' Sunday, like a World Bank CEO, I very seriously plan my food chart for the day and decide targets to be achieved. And, the targets are never to be underestimated, Mind It!

Why THE FOOD YOGI?? While going through Swami Vivekananda's book on Meditation and Yog, I discovered about the four ways of achieving one's highest point of meditation and Moksha ... out which, I found most attractive and suitable was "Karmayoga". In this form, one should do his desired work with complete devotion, with no regrets, with no expectations, with unending focus and full concentration from his soul. This becomes a practice of meditation and worshipping your soul and energy. Being fond of finding my Moksha, I decided to take up my path. Since then, I started following the religion of food, the path of hunger and the desired work- cooking. Anyways, I was originally born to be a Yogi, just a unconventional one- The Food Yogi!

So, here with you,  I am going to practice not so known form of Yoga. A Yoga which is for tongue and palate fitness ; and to destress, relax and rejuvenate your hungry tummy and heart. Afterall, a happy heart leads to happy soul.

Basically , I am going to post my recipes, recipes discovered from friends, street, restaurants, etc, pictures of my own cooked delicacies and also from places I eat and travel. I will try my to make them easy for everyone to prepare and save efforts and embarrassments. Of course, would love to hear your suggestion, contributions and critic as well...

Still the way for happy heart goes through tummy. So, Happy Yoga lovely foodie!!!
